As the wood industry continues to grow, the manufacturers have decided to make variety of plywood with different characteristic that can make suitable for specific purposes. In this article I will be giving you the characteristics of these 3 types of plywood Melamine, Particle Board Core Plywood (PBC) and Lumber Core Plywood.
The melamine plywood is the type that is fused by heat press. It has finishing of resin saturated paper over its core board. It is extremely abrasion resistant and stain resistant. Melamine is being used in a lot of cabinets as a constructing material.
As according to some beliefs, woodworkers say that the name of the China film faced plywood “melamine” refers to the name of resin used as to saturate the paper liner, and that it does not refer to the paper finish.
Such melamine material for the plywood comes in variety of colors, and is very famous to be used in the cabinet industry as for the carcass construction.
The next type of plywood which is the Particle Board Core Plywood or the PBC. Compared to the MDF plywood, Particle Board Core Plywood used a coarser wood dust material. Because of this material, the PBC is lighter but the surface and the edges of this plywood are not consistent and smooth. Sometimes, most of the melamine plywood utilizes the Particle Board Core Plywood to be its substrate.
This makes the Particle board core plywood to be relatively cheap compared to the melamine plywood. This can only be used for minor purpose. Because of low quality of this Particle board core plywood, this could not be used as primary constructing material.
The lumber Core Plywood is another fsc certified plywood type that is manufactured using the strips of the solid lumbers, commonly the basswood.
The core of this plywood is surfaced and a layer of veneer is applied. Actually, this plywood is very expensive, but it holds great sturdiness. This is used commonly for purpose in construction where the edges of the plywood should not be concealed.
Due to its expensive materials, the popularity of the lumber Core Plywood has diminished. Today, it is very hard to locate suppliers and manufacturers or lumber Core Plywood. A lot of other new materials that has the same strength as this plywood are now present in the market. President Barack Obama’s Second term.
After President Barrack Obama’s four years serving as the highest ranking man in the United States, he has once again decided to go on for another four years in the position and won the November 6, 2012 Elections.
On January 21, 2013, President Barack Obama has been once again sworn into office for his second term as the president f the United States during his inauguration ceremony.
You could see through the president’s smile that he is really happy that day to take oath inside the White House’s Blue Room last Sunday along with his Family, the First Lady, Michelle with their daughters Malia and Sasha.
The president is a very brave man to have taken the second term despite of all the complaints he received during his last term in service. He might even be amenable to those mistakes like not keeping a promise, or not doing enough to keep a promise.
The second presidency term is usually known to be lame ducks, they tend to suffer from the many complacency. However, President Obama hoped to have his next four years in service to build a legacy more than just being known as the first ever African-American President to have run the United States of America for 2 consecutive terms.
The start of Barack Obama’s Presidency was marked on the mid day of a Sunday. This was unusual because all inaugural ceremonies should have been scheduled on a Monday, but the rest of the event was scheduled to take place on the following day, on Monday though.
Compared on the 2009 inaugural ceremony, Chief Justice John Roberts has once again administered the oath for office and has successfully got through the ceremony, unlike on 2009 where he had mangled some of the words, and then led to forcing the event to be reaped over again.
According to one of Barack Obama’s advisers on White House, Valerie Jarrett, the president had never appeared more confident than he used to. Jarrett was one of the few people who stuck with the president ever since his first term and back on his Chicago days. She denied that there was any feeling of weariness creeping into White House that day.
Aside from the president’s Inaugural ceremony, the Vice President of the United States, Joe Bidden also had sworn in office for his next term that day.
It is just amazing how both the president and the vice president would still want to lead US after a term of a messy politics. But whatever reason there may be, it is their will to serve.

During the Yuan Dynasty, the pottery period of China was introduced to the new advancement of the ceramics art that has marked in history. The blue and white Chinese porcelain came into existence. This Blue and White Porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty is known to be the last of the great development of the art in Chinese ceramics. The alluring floral designs and the blue paintings beneath the glaze of the porcelain made these ancient arts unique and very worth collecting at this age.
The Islamic traders during the 15th century were the ones who brought cobalt to china, then later on were used in the creation of the designs seen on Yuan Dynasty’s ceramics.
Today, antique collectors would go for a high price just to have one of these Blue and White Porcelain dated back from the Yuan Dynasty. Porcelains may have very short life span compared to woods as they become brittle, but the ones created during the Yuan Dynasty still lives up to now because of the thickness of its structure.
